About GSU
|
Golden State University, continues the successful tradition of providing distance learning education to learners worldwide. The University aims to put the learning and education needs of its students first. The focus of the university is to provide quality distance learning programs of study that are relevant, comprehensive and presented to meet the real needs of motivated and self disciplined learners for the real world.
Golden State University, first founded in the State of California, in 1978, has produced many thousands of students who have greatly benefited through the degree programs of the university and hold responsible positions within their communities. In recent years, the university has been reconstituted under a revitalized administration aand faculty and has expanded both the programs and the community of the university to include vigorous affiliation program in several parts of the world.
The distance learning program of the university is designed to meet the education and professional needs of students who are motivated and self-disciplined, and wish to acquired the same levels of skills and knowledge normally acquire through traditional classroom instruction. The programs of the university provide the students with flexibility and options, and allows the students to fit their studies around their professional, domestic and social responsibilities. |

BBA Program |
120 credit units for graduation, including 33 credit units of study applicable to the General Education Requirement, including the prescribed number of units in the area of English (6 units) Natural Science (6 units) Maths (6 units) Humanities (6 units) Social Science (6 units) Written & Oral Communication (3 units).
The student must complete a minimum of 30 of the 120 credit units of the degree whilst enrolled with Golden State University.
Applicants must have a High School diploma or the equivalent, or demonstrate the ability to succeed in undergraduate studies. An applicant is eligible for admission to the upper division undergraduate level by meeting one of the following criteria:
1. Possession of an Associate degree, or a 2 year diploma
2. Completion of 60 credit units of study, including the General Education requirement

MBA Programs |
Requires the completion of 32 credit units of graduate study, or completing 9 assignments of different subjects or 20,000 words of study paper (equivalent to thesis).
Possession of an appropriate Bachelor's degree from an acceptable institution. Or completion of undergraduate work considered being comparable to a Bachelor's degree. Or has worked in a profession for at least 5 years

DBA, PhD & Honorary Doctorate Programs
|
Requires the completion of 45 credit units of graduate study with a 50,000 words of dissertation.
Doctorate
Possession of an appropriate Master's degree from an acceptable institution. Or has worked in a profession for at least 10 years
Honorary Doctorate
Being expert in a respective technical field and has worked in the profession for at least 15 years
